DESCRIPTION:Am I comfortable enough? \nThe performance “Am I comfortable enough?” is a critical examination of patriarchal culture and its imposition of standards on women. To be „accepted\,“ women are expected to look and behave in a certain manner\, suppressing assertiveness\, aggression\, persistancy\, and the expression of personal opinions and boundaries – to be convenient. The performance’s creators think that „comfortable“ is a characteristic of furniture\, not people. \nThe aim of the project is not only to highlight the deeply ingrained stereotypes and expectations placed on women but also to foster a dialogue about gender equality\, respect\, and the recognition of women’s rights to express their emotions\, opinions\, and establish personal boundaries without fear of judgment or rejection.
