Leandros is a Berlin based interdisciplinary artist who explores the profound connection between art and human perception.

With a great interest in creating experiences that „annoy“ the viewer on both empirical and intellectual levels, Leandros attempts an interaction between the audience and his work, much like a brazen fly that disturbs a host-subject and challenges it into action. Through his installations he invites viewers to delve into the intricacies of human consciousness, offering insights into the complex workings of the human mind and the interconnectedness of our experiences. Incorporating the concept of ‘’prosthetic memory’’ in his artistic research, he transforms memories into sensory experiences, emphasizing empathy and solidarity. He interpolates materials such as marble and glass, clay and iron, video art, the eternal and the contemporary, critiquing the relation between deification and the nobility of matter and technology, and evoking the irreversibility of Error as honest reflection of human fallibility. Leandros creates spaces connecting everyday elements and dystopian atmospheres for a face-to-face confrontation with our own vulnerabilities. His study aims to unlock new perspectives and deepen our understanding of the intricacies of human perception and the role of art in shaping mans consciousness and the world.
