Voices of Pride: boyjob by Sappho Ton Bogataj
Voices of Pride creates space for queer voices that refuse restriction, dilution, or apology. Through writing, art, and lived experience, LGBTIA* creators reclaim visibility, challenge inherited norms, and speak to the realities of identity, resistance, intimacy, and belonging.

boyjob
we are kissing standing up
you kneel in front of me
to give me a blow job
your mouth sucking the two fingers
i hold in front of my crotch
makes me feel like a boy
still
i don’t know if I want that dick
but as you swallow me
uncertainty melts into horniness
keep going
keep going
keep going
because maybe
you can fuck me into boyishness
your hands
your mouth
your eyes
can
eat me
undo me
I want to be your boy
no apology
I feel your fingers
inside me
You add another one and ask
“is that ok?”
“yes,” i say
but what i mean is:
fill me unapologetically
until i forget myself
and become lake
can you feel it?
touching your flat boyish chest
I wonder if you can feel it too:
how pain hides
inside the folds of our orgasms –
the kind that comes
from trusting someone
with your insides

About the Author
Sappho Ton Bogataj is a non-binary transmasc Berlin-based choreographer, dancer, performer and secret writer working with bodies as relational systems shaped by dependency, pressure, and transformation. Their choreographic work focuses on situations in which bodies support, negotiate, or fail each other.
Earlier works engaged with masculinities and collective formats, exploring intimacy, care, and desire through choreographic dispositifs such as the “softboyband” (SPILL, 2023). More recent work shifts towards a material and structural approach, where load, fatigue, and fragmentation become central compositional principles (Fatigue of the Iron, ongoing).
Their pieces have been supported by BKM and Fonds Darstellende Künste and presented at Kampnagel, Lichthof Theater Hamburg, Uferstudios Berlin and MAI Montreal. Bogataj has collaborated with artists including Ana Laura Lozza, Barbara Hang, Christopher Ramm, Marco Merenda, Claire Lefèvre, and Yolanda Morales.
They hold an M.A. in Performance Studies from the University of Hamburg and have trained at Dance Intensive Berlin. They are currently studying dance and choreography at HZT Berlin.
